By accessing our website, submitting an order, or purchasing a product from us, you agree to these Terms.

Katy’s Paw Prints offers pet-themed merchandise, gifts, accessories, apparel, home products, personalized products, and other products that may be added to our store from time to time.

Our store may include both:

Pre-designed products; and
Personalized or custom-made products.

Certain products may be produced specifically after an order is placed.

Product availability is not guaranteed. We reserve the right to discontinue, modify, limit, or replace products at any time without prior notice.

3. PERSONALIZED AND CUSTOM PRODUCTS

Many Katy’s Paw Prints products can be customized using photographs, pet names, personal names, text, artwork, colors, graphics, or other information supplied or selected by the customer.

Because personalized products are created specifically for an individual customer, they are subject to special conditions.

Customer Responsibility for Personalization

You are responsible for carefully reviewing all personalization information before submitting your order.

This includes:

Names;
Spelling;
Dates;
Photographs;
Pet information;
Colors;
Sizes;
Custom text;
Design selections; and
Any other personalization instructions.

Once production has begun, personalized orders may not be changed or canceled.

Katy’s Paw Prints is not responsible for errors contained in information submitted or approved by the customer.

4. CUSTOMER-PROVIDED PHOTOGRAPHS AND CONTENT

When you upload or provide photographs, images, artwork, names, text, logos, graphics, or other content for use in a personalized product, you represent that:

You own the content; or
You have permission and all necessary rights to use the content for the requested product.

You may not submit content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights belonging to another person or organization.

You may not submit unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, threatening, abusive, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate content.

Katy’s Paw Prints reserves the right to refuse or cancel any personalized order containing content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or applicable law.

If an order is canceled for this reason before production begins, any applicable refund will be processed according to the circumstances of the order.

5. LICENSE TO USE CUSTOMER CONTENT

When you provide photographs, images, text, or other content for a custom order, you grant Katy’s Paw Prints and our production and fulfillment partners a limited, non-exclusive license to use that content solely as reasonably necessary to:

Create your personalized product;
Process your order;
Produce the product;
Perform quality control;
Fulfill and ship your order; and
Resolve customer service issues related to your order.

Submitting a photograph for a personalized product does not automatically give Katy’s Paw Prints permission to use that photograph for advertising, social media, promotional materials, or other unrelated marketing purposes.

Any such use would require separate permission where appropriate.

6. CUSTOM ARTWORK AND DESIGN INTERPRETATION

Some personalized products may involve adapting, cropping, enhancing, converting, illustrating, repositioning, or otherwise modifying a customer-provided photograph or image to create the final design.

The final product may not be an exact photographic reproduction of the original image.

Reasonable artistic modifications may occur as part of the personalization process.

Examples include adjustments to:

Cropping;
Background removal;
Image positioning;
Color;
Contrast;
Lighting;
Graphic effects;
Illustration style;
Text placement; and
Product layout.

Minor artistic differences that are inherent to the customization or production process are not considered defects.

7. PRODUCT COLORS, MOCKUPS, AND APPEARANCE

We make reasonable efforts to display our products accurately.

However, colors and appearance may vary depending on:

Computer or mobile device displays;
Screen brightness;
Printing methods;
Fabric or material characteristics;
Manufacturing processes;
Product size;
Image resolution; and
Other production factors.

Product photographs, digital mockups, and previews are intended to represent the product but may not perfectly reproduce the final physical item.

Small differences in color, print positioning, dimensions, or appearance that are normal to the printing or manufacturing process do not necessarily constitute defects.

This does not affect your rights if a product is materially defective, damaged, incorrect, or materially different from what you ordered.

8. IMAGE QUALITY

The quality of a personalized product depends in part on the quality of the photograph or image provided by the customer.

For best results, customers should provide clear, well-lit, high-resolution photographs.

Katy’s Paw Prints cannot guarantee that low-resolution, blurry, dark, cropped, compressed, or otherwise poor-quality images will produce optimal results.

When reasonably possible, we may contact you if an image presents a significant quality concern before production.

9. ORDERS

Submitting an order does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of the order by Katy’s Paw Prints.

We reserve the right to accept, reject, limit, or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including:

Product unavailability;
Pricing errors;
Payment problems;
Suspected fraud;
Incorrect product information;
Technical errors;
Personalization requests that cannot reasonably be produced;
Content that violates these Terms; or
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected and before fulfillment, we will refund the applicable amount to the original payment method unless otherwise required or agreed.

10. ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Orders for standard products may be changed or canceled only if the request is received before the order enters production or fulfillment.

Personalized and custom products frequently enter production shortly after an order is submitted.

Therefore, we cannot guarantee that personalized or custom orders can be changed or canceled once the order has been placed.

We will make reasonable efforts to assist you, but changes or cancellations are not guaranteed once production has begun.

11. PRICES

All prices displayed on our website are shown in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change at any time without prior notice.

The price charged for an order will generally be the price displayed when the order is submitted, subject to correction of obvious pricing or technical errors.

We reserve the right to correct pricing, description, promotional, or typographical errors.

If an error affects an order you have already submitted, we may contact you to provide the opportunity to proceed at the correct price or cancel the affected item or order.

12. TAXES

Applicable sales taxes or other government-imposed taxes may be calculated and added to your order based on the shipping destination and applicable law.

Customers are responsible for taxes, duties, customs charges, or similar charges applicable to their purchases, except where Katy’s Paw Prints is required to collect and remit those amounts directly.

13. PAYMENT

Katy’s Paw Prints is not responsible for delays or delivery problems caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

16. THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTION AND FULFILLMENT

Katy’s Paw Prints may use third-party manufacturers, printers, fulfillment providers, payment processors, shipping carriers, technology providers, and other service providers to produce and deliver products.

By placing an order, you understand that information reasonably necessary to fulfill your order may be shared with these providers in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

17. LOST, DELAYED, OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

Once your order is shipped, delivery may be handled by a third-party carrier.

18. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Standard Products

Eligible non-personalized products may be submitted for return consideration within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery.

Returned products must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition.

Personalized Products

Personalized, customized, and made-to-order products are generally final sale and are not eligible for return or refund because they are created specifically for the customer.

However, if a personalized product arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from the order placed, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Return Authorization

Products must not be returned until Katy’s Paw Prints approves the return and provides return instructions and a return address.

Return Shipping

Unless the return results from an error by Katy’s Paw Prints or a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

These Terms and transactions with Katy’s Paw Prints are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.

Nothing in this provision deprives a consumer of mandatory protections available under applicable law.
